July 14 - Luxembourg

Wow what a contrast.  Luxembourg is very modern, with a old - core that feels like it has been kept around to give the tourists somewhere to spend money.  And EVERYONE is speaking English, not just to us, but to each other.  A bit of asking shows that the official language of Luxembourg is French.

 The old part of Luxembourg city is built on a bluff.  The Spanish worked to fortify the city and dug Casements into the bluff to house men and arms.
